Safari For Windows: Acid2 Test

For those not sure about Safari for Windows… here’s another reason to give it a chance.

As you can see, it passes the Acid2 Web standards test.

Acid2 is a test page, written to help browser vendors ensure proper support for Web standards in their products.

    Opera 9.21 also passes. Too bad this means little to nothing to those ‘industry leaders’ at Microsoft.

  • Very strange. It passes Acid2 on some computers, but not on others. On mine, both at work and at home, it fails. (Windows XP SP2). Others I know see it pass on the same systems.

    I’m more concerned about rendering problems, not expanding containers that resize with Javascript events, etc. It seems quite buggy to me. I’d like to like it… but I can’t. Not yet.
